Breeding quality Australian Shepherds since 1969

Lor A Australian Shepherds has been raising dogs since 1969. Our Australian Shepherds are used to work on our large cow/calf ranch in Central Utah/Western Wyoming. We depend on them to maintain a stress-free working environment for the cattle as they help us gather and sort throughout the year. We like our dogs to be intuitive workers who are able to read their stock and help work without much guidance. It is important for them to have a powerful presence on stock and only bite when necessary.
They are part of our family and travel with us wherever we go. We focus on raising dogs that are versatile, excelling as working, performance, and family companions. Being veterinarian owned, our goal is to produce dogs who are strong in both mind and body. We usually have one litter per year and place our puppies in homes where they will be loved and used for what they were bred to do.
