Flint

Flint is our main ranch dog, helping us daily as we gather, sort, and move cattle. He is a thoughtful worker, who is able to work without much guidance. He is very stock savy and has an excellent sense of group. He is firm on cows and bulls, yet gentle enough for calves and ducks. Flint is very biddable worker and was easy for a novice handler to train. He earned his STDd title at both of our first trial and came very close to earning his sheep and cattle. This trial was also his first time working ducks and sheep. He has also excelled in rally, agility, and obedience. He quickly and easily earned his Rally Novice title. Flint is a wonderful family dog, he is gentle and patient with kids and other animals. He has a great "off" switch and will gladly lay around the house. He is very loyal and loving. Flint passes his wonderful disposition and versatility onto his offspring.

Steele

Steele is our up and coming male. From a young age he reminded me a lot of Flint, his sire. He is confident and thinks situations through prior to acting. Our goal in breeding is always to improve with each generation and Steele definitely did that. He is incredibly biddable, willing to try anything I ask of him and tries his hardest to succeed at it. On stock he has a great sense of natural group and was able to control his impulses at a young age. He will bite both head and heels, exhibiting good control of his stock. He's been dependable in both the corral and on the range. He is more reserved with strangers and is very loyal to his family. Steele absolutely adores our children and is the most patient dog with our toddler. I look forward to seeing how he progresses with age.

Guantes

Guantes was the first Aussie that was officially mine. We had owned others as a family, but Guantes attached himself to me when he was a puppy, even though he was supposed to be my dad's dog. I started showing him in 4-H dog shows, this is where he really flourished!! Guantes would literally do anything I asked of him, he adored me and wanted me to be happy. He loved prancing around the arena during shows. He caught on to obedience, rally, and agility quickly. We won almost all of the shows that we entered in! Guantes was never much of a working dog, but he really shined in the performance ring. This boy was a true example of a loyal, selfless Aussie. He was gentle and patient with all children and animals, though he was always ready to make sure that the puppies minded their manners.
